Badass Mediocrity: A Free Gift for Getting Shit Done

Here’s the thing: writing Failing Upward wasn’t just a cathartic experience; it was also a soul-stripping, coffee-fueled, what-the-hell-am-I-doing-with-my-life kind of endeavor. And now, riding the wave of that beautiful chaos, I find myself staring down the blank page for the next big thing…but, before I dive into the abyss of book two, I wanted to do something a little different. Something raw. Something for you.

So, I threw together a quick ebook—Badass Mediocrity: A Guide to Getting Shit Done. It’s not polished. Hell, it might even have some typos. But, it’s honest. It’s me, talking about the grit and grind of doing the damn thing—whatever “the thing” is for you.

This ebook is a thank-you letter wrapped in a rallying cry. For every person who read Failing Upward and thought, “Maybe I can do this too,” this is for you. For the folks who feel stuck, uninspired, or like they’re not “enough”—this is my reminder that you don’t have to be extraordinary to make extraordinary shit happen.

The truth is, most of us aren’t rockstars or CEOs or Instagram models with perfect lighting and a closet full of aesthetic beige. We’re messy. We’re figuring it out. We’re trying to drag our asses out of bed and get something—anything—done…and that’s badass. That’s where the magic happens.

This little ebook is part pep talk, part kick in the pants. It’s about the beauty of showing up, even when you don’t feel like it; about embracing mediocrity—not as an excuse to half-ass your life, but as a way to strip away the bullshit pressure of perfection. It’s a guide to doing the work, even when the work feels impossible…and for the next month, it’s free. Consider it a thank-you for the support, the reviews, the messages, and for sticking with me while I figure out what’s next. Think of it as a bit of an intermission before the next act—a snack break of sorts while I gear up for what’s coming.

So, go ahead. Download it. Read it. Ignore it. Print it out and make a paper airplane. Whatever. It’s yours.

And, if it helps you get your shit together—or at least makes you laugh along the way—then I’ve done my job.

Cheers to doing the work, embracing the chaos, and finding a little badassery in the everyday grind.

One Love,
